Abstract:Objective To evaluate the outcome of fluorescence cystoscopy -guided transurethral resection of bladder tumor in the treatment of non -muscle invasive bladder cancer. Methods The 15 years’randomized controlled trials on fluorescence cystoscopy versus conventional cystoscopy -guided TUR -bt in the domestic and international databases were reviewed, materials were selected according to inclusion and exclusion criterias and informations were extracted.RevMan 5.2 software was used to conduct a meta -analysis.Results A total of 15 randomized controlled trials,a total of 2 718 cases of patients were included. 1 and 2 -year recurrence rates of fluorescence cystoscopy -guided TUR -bt treatment group were 0.71 (RR =0.71,95% CI 0.58 ~0.87)and 0.60 (RR =0.60,95% CI 0.50 ~0.73 ),and the difference was statistically significant. But long -term postoperative tumor progression rate (RR =0.81,95% CI 0.62 ~1.13)was not statistically different. Conclusion The fluores-cence cystoscopy -guided TUR -bt can reduce the rate of tumor recurrence, but it does not reduce the incidence of progression to muscle invasive bladder cancer.
