Abstract:Objective To observe the influence of cardiac resynchronization therapy on heart function of patients with mild or moderate chronic heart failure. Methods 1 0 patients with mild or moderate chronic heart failure were selected and treated with cardiac resynchronization therapy.ORS duration, chest X -ray,left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF),left ventricular end -diastolic diameter(LVEDD),BNP and 6 -min walking were observed before operation as well as three and six months after oper-ation.Results All patients were implanted with three chamber pacemaker successfully.6 -min walking distances and NYHA cardiac function classification were increased insignificantly(P >0.05).The index such as ORS duration, left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF),left ventricular end -diastolic diameter(LVEDD),BNP were all better than before(P <0.05).Conclusion Cardiac resynchronization therapy could improve the heart function of patients with mild or moderate chronic heart failure,NYHA grade Ⅰ ~Ⅱ.
