Expression and clinical significance of STAT3 and P16 in human gliomas

Abstract：Objective To explore the expression and clinical significance of STAT3 and P1 6 in human gliomas.Methods S -P immunohistochemical method was used to detect the expression of STAT3 and P1 6 in 1 0 cases of normal brain tissue and 75 cases of gliomas(37 cases in grade Ⅰ ~Ⅱ,38 cases in grade Ⅲ ~Ⅳ).The relationship and clinical significance between STAT3 and P1 6 was analyzed.Results There was a high -level expression of STAT3 and low -level expression of P1 6 in hu-man gliomas.The expression of STAT3 was negatively correlated to P1 6(P <0.05).Conclusion High expression of STAT3 and low expression of P1 6 may be associated with the occurrence and development of human gliomas.
