Application of autologous blood transfusion in pericardial devascularization

Abstract：Objective To investigate the clinical value of the intraoperative autologous blood transfusion in Pericardial devas-cularization surgery cases.Methods 54 eligible patients in total undergoing the Pericardial devascularization surgery and accept-ed blood transfusion were enrolled.The target population were divided into experiment group (24 cases)and control group (30 cases).The experiment group received interoperation autologous blood transfusion and the control group adopted homologous blood transfusion.The amount of homologous blood transfusion,the blood routine post operation and the incidence rate of complications of blood transfusion were compared between the two groups.Results The experimental group transfued autologous blood 732 ml for average,17 568 ml in total,and the control group needed allogeneic blood transfusion 313 ml for average,9 400 ml in total. There was no difference of blood constituent between two groups (P >0.05).No complication occurred in the experiment group while 1 case of blood transfusion -induced anaphylaxis occurred in the control group.Conclusion The usage of the autologous blood transfusion could decrease the loss of blood and the amount of homologous transfusion.The autologous blood transfusion had no effect on blood constituent.
