Abstract:Objective:To evaluate the efficacy of linear-polarized near-infrared light irradiation in conjunction with local block in the treatment of the patients with supraspinous or interspinous desmitis. Methods:Fifty-two patients with supraspinous or interspinous desmitis were randomly di-vided into the treatment group and the control group, twenty-six cases in each group. The patients in treatment group were treated with local block in conjunction with linear-polarized near-infrared light irradiation. The patients in control group were treated with local block only. The effects of the two groups were analyzed. Results:The VAS scores were decreased significantly after treatment in both two groups. Compared with the control group, the VAS score of the treatment group was low-er , the difference was statistically significant ( P<0 . 05 ) . The cure rate of the treatment group was significantly higher than the control group ( P<0 . 05 ) . The recurrence rate of the treatment group was significantly lower than the control group after two months ( P<0 . 05 ) . Conclusion: Linear-polarized near-infrared light irradiation in conjunction with local block in the treatment of spine in-jury on the supraspinous and interspinous ligaments was more effective and not easy to relapse. It was an effective and safe method to treat spine injury on the supraspinous or interspinous desmitis.
