Application of orthodontic traction in the treatment of underup-tion

Abstract：Objective:To explore the application of orthodontic traction in the treatment of under-uption.Methods: 28 patients with 32 impacted teeth were treated by orthodontic traction .Re-sults:30 teeth were guided into an occlusal position .Pulp and periodontal tissues of all the teeth were normal.The aesthetic effect of 2 teeth were not so good because of the high position of the at-tached gingiva .Conclusion:Orthodontic traction was a convenient , safe and effective method for the treatment of the impacted anterior teeth .It could meet the physiological function .function and effectively keep the beautiful appearance of the anterior area .
