The effect of TACE combined with Tα1 on the serum sIL-6R and sgp130 in the patients with PHC
Abstract:Objective:To study the effect thymosin alpha-1(Tα1 ) on the serum soluble interleukin -6 receptor (sIL-6R) and soluble interleu kin-6 receptor β strands (sgp 130) in patients with primary hepatic carcinoma (PHC).Methods:The content of sIL-6R and sgp130 was detected by enzy me linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA)method in patients with PHC treated by tran scatheter arterial chemoemboliation (TACE) combined with Tα1.Results:The content of sIL-6R and sgp130 in serum in the pat ients with PHC was significant higher than that in normal controls (NC group).Th e survival rates of the patients with PHC treated by TACE and Tα1 was raised s iginficantly. The content of sIL-6R and sgp130 in serurn in the patients with PH C(treated by TACE and Tα1 was signifiantly than that in the patients treated by TACE.)Conclusion: The serum level of sIL-6R and sgp130 may ref lect immune efect and prognosis in the patients with PHC.Treatment of PHC with T ACE and Tα1 can raise the survival rates of the patients with PHC
