Discussion on the improvment of surgical treatment of sub-mucosal early gastric carcinoma
Abstract:Objective: To discuss the effect of the surgical treatment of sub-mucosal gastric carcinoma (EGC).Methods: From 1984 to June 1992,28 cases of sub-mucosal EGC were treated.①Ligate the blood vessels which will be resected after opening the abdomen.②Standard D2 operation plus radical resection of the lymphous and adipic tissues from post peritoneum upper edge of the pancreas.③Subtotal resection of the small curve of the stomach in the areas of high incidence of the gastic cancer.④Active treatment for precancerous lesion of the gastric-remnant.Results: With above-montioned method all patiens survive for more than five years,No relapse and metastasis were found. The 5-year survival rate was 100%.Conclusion: It shows that improving the conventional treatment is the key of improving the survival rate of sub-mucosal EGC.
