Abstract：Objective： To study the effect of garlic essential oil on experimental hyperlipermia in rabbits.Methods: Using feeding method to set up the experimental hyperlipemia model and determining the biochemical criteria.Results: Garlic essential oil significantly decreased the serum contents of triglyceride,cholesterol,low density lipoprotein,very low density lipoprotein and the rate between total cholesterol and high density lipoprotein.Conclusion: Garlic essential oil can prevent and treat experimental hyperlipidemia in rabbits.
