Genetic polymorphisms of human short tandem repeat D21S1409
Abstract：Objective： We researched the genetic polymorphisms of D21S1409 in Henan population and its using in forensic science. Methods： Collecting not-relative persons in Henan population and getting the DNA with Chelex.Using polymerase chain reaction and nondenaturing polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis silver staining to type the persons. Results： A total of 6 alleles and 12 genotypes was found in Henan population,its heterozygosity is high and the locus can be used in forensic genetics. Conclusion: We get the frequency of the locus D21S1409 in Henan population.The results of amniotic fluid,villus,blood stain mean D21S1409 is a good locus for forensic.
