Study of diagnosing colorectal disease using oral ultrasonic bowel contrast solution
Abstract:Objective: Study of diagnosing colorectal disease using oral ultrasonic bowel contrast solution. Methods: Afterdefecation, the patient took 70~100 ml contrast agent and 500~700 ml water, until the agent filled the colorectum, then ex-amination started. Results: The detectable rate was 98 %, the locative accurate rate was 92.1% and the qualitative coinci-dence rate was 78.2% in middle-late stage of colorectal cancer with ultrasound. The detectable rate of early stage tumor wasconcered with the clean degree of colorectal tract and the experience of examiner. It can identify the benign from malignancy insome degree. The detectable rate of ultrasound for colorectal non-space-occupied lesion was lower than that of colorectal space-occupied lesion. Most of the miss-dignosed were small or slight. Conclusion: Oral ultrasonic contrast agent diagnosing colorec-tal disease is feasible. It′s a convenient and quick screening method.
