Principal Component Analysis by Using Multitemporal MODIS -NDVI Data in Xinjiang
Abstract:Based on EOS/MODIS 250-meter satellite remote sensing data, to Xinjiang in 2010 whole year 36 ten-day period data, with the maximum synthesis method, makes every three ten-days NDVI data to synthesize NDVI monthly data and analyze it. We withdraw the different principal components and analyze the cumulative variance of the different principal components. The results show that the first 4 principal components of principal components transformation contain most of the information: the first principal component is reflected NDVI in the spatial distribution and cumulative value. The principal component of second, third, fourth are reflected seasonal variation in winter and summer, spring and summer, spring and autumn period .
