Study of 3 G Communication Technique and Applications in Video Consultation System of Mobile Weather Station
Abstract：Presently, many mobile weather stations have been applied in operation by Shandong provincial meteorological departments. They play an important role in guarding against meteorological disaster, and in emergency meteorological service. The communication to internet and internal networkthrough satellite is costly and the bandwidth must be increased before it being used. Therefore, a solution is presented to establish VPDN network by using 3G communication technique for the municipal meteoro- logical bureau internal network, which realized video consultation between mobile weather station and Jinan meteorological station. This solution has greatly reduced the costs of communication and increased data transfer rates.
