Arenaceous Land Leanness of Abandoned Channel of Yellow River Based on RS and GIS——a Case in Zhongmu County of Henan Province
Abstract：Arenaceous land leanness is a typical form of desertification in the abandoned channel of Yellow River,which poses a great threat to the regional ecological environment and sustainable human development.Based on remote sensing and geographical modeling technology,the quantitative evaluation model is built at pixel scale of arenaceous land leanness.By use of Landsat TM data,the auto-evaluation of arenaceous land leanness and mapping output of its spatial distribution are achieved by remote sensing inversion of vegetable cover and surface temperature and the percentage area of bare sand.
