Effects of Different Ratio of Main Components in Grapholitha molesta Sex Pheromone Lures on Trapping Capability in Orchards

Abstract：In order to exploit the optimal ingredient of Grapholitha molesta sex pheromone lure by comparing the capture capacity of the lures with different ratio of the main components of G.molesta sex pheromone,18 groups of G.molesta sex pheromone lures made in laboratory with different ratio of the three main components were used to test their capture capacity in orchards.The results showed that capture capacity was significantly influenced by the ratio of the main components.(Z)-8-dodecenyl acetate had the main effect on the capture capability;(E)-8-dodecenyl acetate had no significant effect on capture capacity;(Z)-8-dodecenol had partly synergistic effect on capture number.Lure with a fixed ratio of the three main components might show different capture capacity on different generation of G.molesta.By comprehensive analysis,we speculated that the optimal ratios of the three components[(Z8-12∶ Ac)∶ (E8-12∶ Ac)∶ (Z8-12∶ OH)]were (90-98) ∶0∶6 and (90-100) ∶ 0∶ 0 respectively for the overwintering and the first generation of G.molesta,and the relative capture rates of the lures could reach 86.6％ and 84.9％,respectively.
