Abstract:The experiment was carried out in the solar greenhouse. In order to study the effects of irrigation regimes on tomato growth, dry matter accumulation, yield and irrigation water use efficiency(IWUE),four different regimes of irrigation amount(0.6W,0.8W,1.0W and 1.2W) were set based on the irrigation volume under full irrigation treatment(W),denoted as GS0.6,GS0.8,GS1.0 and GS1.2 respectively. The results showed that plant height, stem diameter, dry matter accumulation and yield increased with irrigation amount, while IWUE decreased with the increase of irrigation amount.Compared with GS1.0, GS0.6 treatment showed significant decrease of tomato yield and significant increase of IWUE,while GS0.8 and GS1.2 showed no significant difference.Taken together, moderate deficit and excess irrigation showed no obvious effect on plant yield and IWUE,but yield and IWUE would be influenced obviously by excessive deficit irrigation.
