Effects of Se and B Combining Application on Quality of Flue-cured Tobacco Leaves and Se Content

Abstract：In order to establish an applicable synthetical evaluation method of flue-cured tobacco under the condition of Se and B fertilizer combining application,and to determine the appropriate application a-mount,the effects of Se and B fertilizer combining application on the quality and Se contents of middle and upper flue-cured tobacco leaves were studied by field experiment.The results showed that,Se and B combining application was useful to regulate the photosynthetic physiology of tobacco;Se and B combining application improved the chemical composition coordination of the upper part tobacco leaves,increased the appearance quality and the sensory quality of the middle upper part tobacco leaves,and significantly de-creased the protein contents of the middle and upper parts tobacco leaves with the decrease range of 7.2%—24.9%;when the organic selenium fertilizer amount increased,Se and B combining application significantly increased the selenium contents of middle and upper parts tobacco leaves with increase range of 8.8%—227.1%.The key parameters of tobacco quality were clustered,and the results showed that the organic selenium fertilizer of 6.0—12.0 L/ha combined with B fertilizer of 15 kg/ha was perfect for im-proving tobacco quality,safety and industrial usability.
