Abstract:This research applied medicated plate method to determine the virulence of Paenibacillus polymyxa L1-9 bacterial powder on Fusarium oxysporum sp.cucumebrium Owen,Sclerotina sclerotiorum,Rhizoctonia solani and Alternaria solani, and concluded the toxicity regression equation.Besides, three kinds of treatment methods including seed dressing, soil mixing and root irrigation were also employed to explore the promoting effect of L1-9 bacterial powder on cucumber growth and the control effect on cucumber fusarium wilt. These would provide a reference for further studying marine Paenibacillus polymyxa preparation. Results showed that the highest antibacterial effect was found on Alteruaria solani, with EC50 and EC90 values of 38.312 2 mg/L and 66.732 2 mg/L,followed by Fusarium oxysporum sp.cucumebrium Owen, with the corresponding values of 48.925 2 mg/L and 86.713 2 mg/L.The three treatments all had positive influence on the growth of cucumber.Compared to the control group, soil mixing could remarkably promote the fresh weight of cucumber above the ground by 243.75%,while the number of fibril root was increased by 113.11% after seed dressing.Experiments also revealed that L1-9 powder possessed stronger inhibitory effect on cucumber fusarium wilt, and the control effects in three treatments reached 77.12%,81.32% and 78.75%,respectively.In summary,L1-9 powder presented obvious inhibitory effect on the four different kinds of plant pathogenic fungi and positive effects on the growth and disease prevention of cucumber.
