Effect of Topping-control Technology on Quality and Structure Proportion of Flue-cured Tobacco K326

Abstract：In order to improve the usability of upper leaves of flue-cured tobacco K326,the effects of topping-control technology of leaving flower,leaving stem and leaving flower added suckercides on chemical composition,structure proportion,economic traits and smoking quality were studied on K326 flue-cured tobacco with conventional topping as control.The results showed that,compared with the control,yield and output value of leaving flower,leaving stem and leaving flower added suckercides treatments decreased,the average prices improved by 4.41％,2.94％ and 1.23％,the first class proportion improved by 4.80,-2.20 and-5.20 percentage points,the upper leaves proportion decreased by 4.30,8.30 and 0.70 percentage points,middle leaf proportion improved by 4.50,2.30 and -3.30 percentage points,nicotine content of upper leaves decreased by 33.63％,20.49％ and 25.74％ respectively,the three treatments had the effect of increasing sugar and decreasing nicotine on the middle and upper leaves,upper leaves of three treatments had the sweet feeling style,enough aroma,less miscellaneous gas and clear quality characteristics.The leaving flower treatment had the best effect by comprehensive analysis.
