Abstract:In order to understand the effect of organic matter-decomposing inoculant on decomposition of stalk and corp yield, using field survey and indoor analysis,a field experiment was conducted to study the effects of organic matter-decomposing inoculant on soil physico-chemical properties, decomposition level of corn stalk and wheat yield in clay soil. The results showed that the application of organic matter-decompo-sing inoculant of 30 kg/ha reduced soil bulk density and pH value, increased soil nutrient content, wheat ear length and grain number per ear, thereby significantly improved wheat yield, which increased by 3.02%compared with the treatment without organic matter-decomposing inoculant.
