Abstract:In this experiment, the antibiosis of twenty-two wheat varieties( lines) to Rhopalosiphum phdi ( L. ) and non-preference of R. phdi to wheat varieties( lines) in seedling stage were studied, and relation-ship between leaf chlorophyll content and the antibiosis/non-preference was analyzed, to provide refe-rences for screening parent materials resistant or tolerant to aphids and breeding new wheat varieties. The results showed that R. phdi refused to eat four wheat varieties(lines) including Zhengmai 9023,Hengmai line,Fengyou 6,Baofeng 104 under both lighting and dark conditions, however refused Bainong 64,Amigo and Jinghua 1 only under dark condition, and refused Nongda 212,Jingmai 411 and Yumai 35 line only under lighting condition. Meanwhile seven wheat varieties(lines) including Zhengmai 9023,Jimai 20, KOK1679,Jinghua 1,Hengmai line, Xinmai 9 and Mingxian 169 had antibiosis to R. phdi. There was sig-nificant negative correlation between chlorophyll a content and winged aphids landing amount ( r =-0 . 60?) , but there was no significant correlation between chlorophyll b content and winged aphids landing amount(r= -0. 24),indicating that the higher the chlorophyll a content, the stronger the non-preference of winged aphids. There was no significant correlation between chlorophyll a,b content and an-tibiosis to R. padi.
