Effects of Pirformaspore indica on Yield and Resistance to Waterlogging of Cotton

Abstract：To provide new means of preventing from cotton waterlogging disaster, randomized block experiments were used to study the remedy effect of Pirformaspore indica on waterlogged cotton. With waterlogging and no bacteria agent ( CK1 ) , and no waterlogging and no bacteria agent ( CK0 ) as the control,the repairing functions of 20,40,60 mL bacterium agent of Pirformaspore indica on waterlogged cotton were studied after a week of waterlogging. The results showed that 40 mL bacterium agent of P. indica per plant obviously increased the yield of cottonseed and lint cotton, improved boll weight and lint percent. Compared with CK0,seed cotton yield was increased by 32. 72%,and the increased output was 6 183. 31 RMB/ha. In the production,peasants can add P. indica with 40 mL per plant after a week of waterlogging stress, which may improve cotton resistance to waterlogging and increase cotton yields.
