Effects of Shading on Chlorophyll Contents of Super Hybrid Rice

Abstract：In order to study the characteristic of chlorophyll content changes in super hybrid rice under different shading treatments,this experiment was conducted using super hybrid,ordinary hybrid and in-bred varieties as materials under different shading treatments(shading 30% ,shading 60% ,normal light). The results showed that chlorophyll content was significantly influenced by different varieties and shading treatments. The contents of chlorophyll a,b and a + b of super hybrid rice increased after full heading,of which the content increase degree of chlorophyll b was higher than that of chlorophyll a. The carotenoid content of super hybrid rice was insensitive to shading treatment. Chlorophyll a / b of super hybrid rice de-creased under the shading treatment,and the decrease degree of super hybrid rice was bigger than that of ordinary hybrid and inbred varietie. It might be related to the vulnerable adoption ability to the environ-ment of super hybrid rice.
