Research on Genetic Diversity of Glutinous Rice in Hubei by SSR Marker

Abstract：In this paper,the genetic diversity of giutinous rice was analyzed with fifty germplasms of gluti-nous rice of Hubei with thirty six SSR markers. The results indicated that the average diversity index and average polymorphic information contents(PIC) were 0. 710 7 and 0. 686 1,respectively. The cluster analy-sis with molecular marker showed that there was abundant genetic resource in glutinous rice of Hubei prov-ince. This phenomenon would be in favor of glutinous rice breeding,especially for subspecies breeding.
