Abstract：For the development and application of Jerusalem artichoke resource ,this paper re-viewed the feeding value of Jerusalem artichoke ,application of Jerusalem artichoke and its extract in animal husbandry .The active ingredient extraction method ,existing problems and development prospects were also discussed .
