Research Progress on Brassinosteroid Related Genes and T heir Functions in Rice

Abstract：Brassinosteroids belong to the plant hormones and play an important role in plant grow th .Brassinosteroids in rice affect the plant type ,thus affecting the biomass and yield of rice . Both spraying the brassinosteroids in vitro and changing the brassinosteroid level in vivo will change the rice plant type .T herefore ,the study of brassinosteroid related genes in rice could re-veal the mechanism of plant type in the molecular level ,so as to improve the rice yield by mole-cular operation means .In this paper ,we summarized some brassinosteroid genes and their physi-ological functions ,which participate in biosynthesis ,biodegradation and signal transduction in rice .
