Abstract:Objective To investigate the influencing factors of hyperlipidemia in patients with type 2 diabetes melli-tus(T2DM)and construct a nomogram prediction model. Methods A total of 186 T2DM patients admitted to author's hospital from March 2021 to March 2023 were enrolled, the patients were divided into T2DM group(n=90)and T2DM combined with hyperlipidemia group(n=96)based on the presence of hyperlipidemia.General clinical data of patients be-tween two groups were compared,Logistic regression analysis was used to screen the independent risk factors of hyperlip-idemia in T2DM patients.A nomogram prediction model was constructed based on the risk factors screened by Logistic regression analysis, the receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve, calibration curve and decision curve were used to evaluate the predictive performance of the model. Results Compared with the T2DM group, the body mass index(BMI),triglyceride(TG),total cholesterol(TC),low-density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C),apolipoprotein B(ApoB)/ApoA1,fasting blood glucose(FBG),glycated hemoglobin type A,c(HbA1c)and hypersensitive C-reactive protein(hs-CRP)levels in the T2DM combined with hyperlipidemia group significantly increased, while HDL-C level significantly de-creased,and the difference between the two groups were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Logistic regression anal-ysis showed that TG,TC,LDL-C,HbA1c and hs-CRP were independent risk factors for hyperlipidemia in T2DM pa-tients(all P<0.05).The nomogram model based on the above 5 indicators had good prediction performance, and the ROC area under the curve(AUC)was 0.82(95%CI:0.76-0.88);the calibration curve showed that the pre-dicted results of the model were in good agreement with the actual results(P=0.288);the decision curve showed that the model had a high net benefit value within a certain threshold probability. Conclusion TG,TC,LDL-C,HbA1c and hs-CRP are independent risk factors for hyperlipidemia in T2DM patients, the nomogram model constructed based on these indicators is of great value for the early prediction of hyperlipidemia in T2DM patients.
