Effects of Jinqiaomai Capsules Combined with Montelukast Sodium on Immune Function,Oxidative Antioxidant Imbalance and NLRP3 Inflammasome in Children with Bronchial Asthma

Abstract：Objective To observe the effects of Jinqiaomai capsules combined with Montelukast Sodium on immune function,oxidative antioxidant imbalance and inflammasome of Nod like receptor family containing pyrin domain protein 3(NLRP3)in children with bronchial asthma.Methods A total of 152 children with bronchial asthma who received treat-ment in author's hospital from April 2020 to February 2023 were selected.According to the two-color sphere method,the children were divided into control group(n=76)and study group(n=76),the control group received treatment with Montelukast Sodium,while the study group received treatment with the combination of Jinqiaomai capsules and Monte-lukast Sodium.The clinical total effective rate,improvement of clinical symptoms,immune function indicators,oxidative antioxidant imbalance indicators and NLRP3 inflammasome status between two groups of patients were compared.Results The total effective rate of the children in study group(92.11％)was significantly higher than that of the control group(76.32％)(P＜0.05).Compared with the control group,the study group showed decrease in cough resolution time,wheezing resolution time and dyspnea relief time(all P＜0.001).After 8 weeks of treatments,the CD8+,malondi-aldehyde(MDA)and mRNA expression level of NLRP3 inflammasome decreased in both groups of children,and these indicators in the study group were lower than those in the control group(all P＜0.001);the CD4+/CD8+,CD4+,CD3+,glutathione peroxidase(GSH-Px)and superoxide dismutase(SOD)levels increased in both groups of chil-dren,and these indicators in the study group were higher than those in the control group(all P＜0.001).The incidence of adverse reactions in the control group was 6.58％,while it was 5.26％in the study group,and there was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of adverse re-actions between the two groups of children(P＞0.05).Conclusion The combination of Jinqiaomai capsules and Monte-lukast Sodium in the treatment of bronchial asthma can promote the improvement of clinical symptoms in children,which may be related to the improvement of immune function,oxidative antioxidant imbalance and NLRP3 inflammasome level.
