Effects of Bizhengning Combined with Methotrexate on Coagulation and Immunocoactivity in Rheumatoid Arthritis Patients with Cold-dampness Obstruction Syndrome

Abstract：Objective To investigate effects of Bizhengning combined with methotrexate on coagulation and immu-nocoactivity in rheumatoid arthritis(RA)patients with cold-dampness obstruction syndrome.Methods The clinical data of 128 RA patients who were hospitalized in the department of the author's hospital from November 2022 to July 2024 were collected,and they were divided into basic group(n=53)and combination group(n=75)according to the medica-tion regimen and syndrome type,methotrexate was used in the basic group;the combination group was treated with methotrexate combined with Bizhengning for 2 months.The combination group was divided into experimental group(cold-dampness obstruction syndrome,n=33)and control group(dampness-heat obstruction syndrome,liver-kidney de-ficiency syndrome and phlegm-stasis obstruction syndrome,n=42)according to the syndrome type.The traditional Chi-nese medicine syndrome scores of patients in each group were observed,and the inflammatory indexes erythrocyte sedi-mentation rate(ESR),C-reaction protein(CRP),coagulation indexes fibrinogen(FIB),fibrinogen degradation products(FDP),blood platelet count(PLT),D-dimer(D-D)and immune-related indicators immunoglobulin A(IgA),immunoglobulin M(IgM)and immunoglobulin G(IgG)were detected and statistically analyzed.Results After 2 months of treatments,the tra-ditional Chinese medicine syndrome score of the combination group was significantly lower than that of the basic group(P＜0.001),and the traditional Chinese medicine symptom score of the experimental group was lower than that of the con-trol group(P＜0.001);the levels of FIB,FDP,PLT,D-D,IgA,IgM and IgG in the combination group were lower than those in the basic group(all P＜0.05),and the improvement of the above indexes in the experimental group was better than those in the control group(all P＜0.05);the levels of ESR and CRP of patients in 4 groups were significantly im-proved,and the combination group was lower than that of the basic group(all P＜0.001),and the experimental group was lower than that of the control group(all P＜0.05).Conclusion Bizhengning combined with methotrexate in the treatment of cold-dampness obstruction syndrome RA can improve the coagulation and immune function of the patients,reduce the risk of thrombosis,reduce inflammatory reactions,and significantly improve traditional Chinese medicine syn-drome of the patients,with good safety and clinical efficacy.
