Conceptual Framework for Developing Integrated Day Surgery Systems in "Military Hospital-Health Company(Detachment/Clinic)" Settings

Abstract:Objective To explore the feasibility and implementation pathways of the "military hospital-health com-pany(detachment/clinic)" integrated day surgery model within the military healthcare system,so as to optimize medical support efficiency and ability.Methods By analyzing the advantages of day surgery,its current development status and the challenges faced in civilian healthcare systems,this study integrated the characteristics,advantages and limitations of military medical systems to propose day surgery pattern and workflow tailored to military healthcare,and the possible challenges were also considered and prospected.Results The military medical system had unique advantages in policy sup-port and transitional care,which can effectively overcome some of the problems faced by local medical systems in carrying day surgery.The "military hospital-health company(detachment/clinic)" integrated day surgery system proposed with strict access system,standardized operation process and perfect follow-up mechanism,which could ensure the safe and or-derly development of day surgery in the military medical system.However,it was also clear that this pattern still faced certain difficulties and challenges in terms of officers and soldiers'cognition,primary medical ability,hardware facilities and communication mechanism.Conclusion It is of great significance and broad prospects to carry out day surgery in the military medical system.Through measures such as concept popularization,policy guidance and communication mecha-nism optimization,the "military hospital-health company(detachment/clinic)" integrated day surgery pattern can give full play to the advantages of military hierarchical diagnosis and treatment,effectively improve the efficiency of military expenditure,and provide strong support for peacetime health security and wartime wounded treatment.
