Abstract:Objective To explore the relationship between dominant limbs,FMS and fatigue of cadets in the early and late stage of the cadet training,so as to provide reference for improving the entrance training program of cadets in mili-tary academy. Methods Functional movement screen(FMS)and multidimensional fatigue inventory(MFI-20)data were collected on eligible cadets in the early and late stage of the cadet training. The differences of MFI-20 score in the early and late stage of the cadet training, the differences of FMS score between dominant and non-dominant side and the influ-ence of FMS score on MFI-20 score were analyzed. Results FMS shoulder flexibility score, the total score of upper limb and the total score of the dominant side in the early and late stage of the training were higher than those of the non-domi-nant side(all P<0.05).There was no significant difference in MFI-20 scores in the early and late stage of the cadet training(all P>0.05).In FMS scale, the total score of the lower limbs had a significant effect on the total score of MFI-20 and physical fatigue score in the early stage of the non-dominant side training(P<0.01);linear lunge had a significant effect on mental fatigue score in the early stage of the dominant side training(P<0.05);active straight knee raise had a significant effect on reduced motivation score in the early stage of the non-dominant side training(P<0.05);inline lunge had a significant effect on physical fatigue scores in the late stage of the non-dominant side training(P<0.05);the total score of upper limbs had a significant effect on the mental fatigue score in the late stage of the non-domi-nant side training(P<0.01).Conclusion Cadet military training can improve the physical fitness of cadets and en-hance fatigue resistance in hot environment. The corresponding anti-fatigue intervention should be taken according to the FMS score of the cadets to achieve better training results.
