Current Situation and Thinking of Echelon Treatment of Thoracic Injury in Modern Warfare

Abstract：Objective To summarize the status quo of echelon treatment of modern thoracic war trauma,and ex-plore a new model of echelon treatment of modern thoracic war trauma.Methods To analyze the status quo and mode of echelon treatment of modern thoracic war trauma based on the relevant literature,and to explore a new mode of echelon treatment of modern thoracic war trauma suitable for Chinese army based on the characteristics and needs of the current medical support system.Results Modern thoracic war trauma had the characteristics of severe injury,diversified injury factors and complicated identification and diagnosis.The strategy of echelon treatment of modern thoracic war trauma mainly focused on the three-step process of pre-hospital emergency treatment in the battlefield,comprehensive treatment in the field hospital,and rehabilitation treatment in the postwar hospital.At present,there were still some problems such as delayed medical evacuation,insufficient specialists and nonstandard research data.Conclusion Our army can optimize the treatment process of thoracic war injury by improving the quality of tactical war injury treatment.We should strength-en the training of professional and technical personnel and promote the integration and exchange of learning between mili-tary and the civilian areas;to establish thoracic war trauma database and conduct in-depth research on the war injury treatment model to construct a new model of echelon treatment of modern thoracic war trauma,so as to meet the needs of war injury treatment in modern war.
