Abstract:Objective To explore the current status and strategies for the treatment of war injuries and trauma in helicopter flight personnel. Methods Through literature retrieval, data collection and data analysis, the current status of war injuries and trauma treatment for helicopter flight personnel in domestic and overseas were clarified, while related strategies based on their drawbacks were proposed. Results Lower limb injuries were the most common, with head inju-ries being particularly prominent in fatal injuries, severe chest injuries were the most common one,and blunt trauma was the main cause of death. The techniques of early on-site treatment and damage control were still effective methods for res-cuing injured helicopter flight personnel.Although there was a persistent demand for war injuries and trauma treatment for domestic helicopter flight personnel, related research had significantly delayed behind study on improving operational efficiency. Conclusion It is necessary to pay attention to the demand of war injuries and trauma treatment for helicopter flight personnel, explore the traumatic spectrum for this population in general and special environment, and construct rel-evant laboratory models. After the existing treatment plans are validated, improved and optimized, the rescuing level for helicopter flight personnel will be effectively enhanced.
