Abstract:Objective To evaluate the effects of pre-rehabilitation intervention combined with proprioceptive train-ing on knee joint function, pain and negative emotion in patients with knee osteoarthritis(KOA)undergoing total knee ar-throplasty(TKA).Methods A total of 172 KOA patients underwent TKA from September 2019 to September 2023 were selected, the patients were divided into conventional group(n=85),which had routine nursing intervention, and the pre-rehabilitation group(n=87),which had preoperative pre-rehabilitation intervention, and both groups were subjected to routine treatment and proprioceptive training. The physical function indexes were assessed by time up and go test(TUGT)and 6 minute walking test(6MWT),and the knee function was evaluated by the Western Ontario and Mc-Master Universities Arthritis Index(WOMAC),the pain was assessed by visual analogue scale(VAS),the psychological status was assessed by self-rating anxiety scale(SAS)and self-rating depression scale(SDS),and quality of life was as-sessed by generic quality of life inventory 74(GQOLI-74);the expression change of serum tumor necrosis factor alpha(TNF-α)and C-reactive protein(GRP)were detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. Results Compared with the conventional group, after the intervention, the TUGT,WOMAC,VAS,SAS,SDS scores and TNF-α,CRP were significantly lower in the pre-rehabilitation intervention group(P<0.05),6MWT,GQOLI-74 scores on each dimension were significantly higher(all P<0.05);the total effective rate of the pre-rehabilitation intervention group was significantly higher(97.70%vs.88.23%)(x2=5.936,P<0.05);incidence of adverse reactions were significantly lower in the pre-rehabilitation intervention group(3.45%vs.14.42%)(x2=6.148,P<0.05).Conclusion Pre-rehabilitation intervention combined with proprioceptive training can improve knee function, pain and negative emotion associated with surgery in patients with TKA due to KOA,which can enhances its efficacy.
