Abstract:Objective To investigate the occurrence and influencing factors of military training injuries of recruit in an army,so as to prevent the occurrence of training injuries. Methods By questionnaire survey,a sample of recruit was selected as the research object,250 questionnaires were distributed to investigate the occurrence of military training inju-ries in recruit, and the related risk factors affecting the occurrence of military training injuries were analyzed. Results A total of 212 valid questionnaires were returned, and 76 cases of military training injuries occurred, with an incidence of 35.85%.The recruits were divided into training injury group(n=76)and control group(n=136)according to whether training injury occurred. The highest incidence of military training injuries was recorded in the 4th week after military training, accounting for 31.58%(24/76)of all military training injuries, and the incidence was concentrated on the lower limb joints;about 19.74%(15/76)recruits were affected training by military training injuries.Compared with control group, the recruits in the training injury group were older, had drinking habits, participated in less physical exercise and had poor sleep before joining the army(all P<0.05).Logistic regression analysis showed that regular physical exercise before enlistment was the protective factor, drinking and poor sleep were the risk factors for recruits having military train-ing injuries(P<0.05).Conclusion Military training injuries are more likely to occur in lower limb areas, and habits of drinking, lack of exercise and poor sleep status were the risk factors for the occurrence of training injuries.Training inju-ries should be prevented by paying attention to the individual status of recruits and taking targeted measures according to the body parts and periods of high incidence of training injuries.
