Abstract:Objective To study the clinical effects of butylphthalide combined with nimodipine on hypertensive cer-ebral hemorrhage and its influence on cerebral edema and blood flow parameters. Methods The clinical data of 98 patients with hypertensive cerebral hemorrhage in author's hospital from January 2020 to January 2021 were retrospectively ana-lyzed.The patients were divided into control group(n=48)and study group(n=50)according to the different treatment methods. The control group was given nimodipine 40 mg/times,3 times/day for 14 days on the basis of conventional treatment;on the basis of the treatment of the control group, the study group used butylphthalide treatment,100 ml/times,2 times/day,continuous administration for 14 days. The total effective rate of the two groups after treatments and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale(NIHSS),cerebral edema volume, hematoma volume, average blood flow veloc-ity,average blood flow of patients before and after treatments between the two groups were compared. Results The total effective rate of study group was higher than control group(94.00%vs.79.17%,P<0.05);before treatments, there was no significant difference in NIHSS score, brain edema volume, hematoma volume, average blood flow velocity and average blood flow between the two groups(all P<0.05);after treatments, the NIHSS score, brain edema volume and hematoma volume of the study group were significantly smaller than those of the control group, and the average blood flow velocity and average blood flow were significantly higher than those of the control group(all P<0.05).Conclusion The combined administration of butylphthalide and nimodipine for patients with hypertensive cerebral hemor-rhage can effectively improve the clinical efficacy, cerebral edema and hemodynamics, and more effectively recover the de-fective nerve function of the patients.
