Function and Preliminary Study of the Mental Health Rescue Team in Wartime

Abstract:Objective To explore the functions,organizational frameworks and main working strategies of the men-tal health rescue team in wartime.Methods By summarizing literature review and experience of training missions over the years,the achievement were refined from the work practice;functions,organizational frameworks and main working strategies of the mental health rescue team in wartime were summarized.Results Eight main work contents,organiza-tional frameworks and task performance,general support strategies,physical rehabilitation,occupational therapy and combat and operational stress reaction(COSR)"CALM-DOWNS"intervention strategies were preliminarily summarized.Conclusion The mental health rescue team is the mobile medical service force of the army,it is an important part of the emergency medical support force system participating in non-war military operations in wartime and peacetime.It provides mental health support for reducing psychiatric attrition and enhances the fighting force in wartime.Timely review and summarize the experience is of great significance to the construction of the field mental health rescue team.
