Analysis on Etiology and Clinical Features of 417 Patients with Acute Pancreatitis

Abstract:Objective To explore the etiology and clinical features of 417 acute pancreatitis (AP) patients.Methods The clinical data of 417 AP patients admitted to authors' hospital from January 2016 to March 2018 were reviewed to record the age, sex, etiology, clinical classification of pancreatitis, etc.According to the etiology, all patients were divided into 5 groups:biliary AP group (n=196), hyperlipidemia AP group (n=109), alcoholic AP group (n=29), high-fat diet correlated AP group (n=35) and other etiological AP group (n=35).Results There were significantly differences in the average age, sex ratio, hospital stay and recurrent AP among all groups (P<0.01).No obviously differences were found between different etiology and severity AP among all groups (P>0.05).Conclusion The constituents of etiology of AP is changing.Biliary and hyperlipidemia are the main causes of AP.
