Abstract:Objective To explore the value of MR perfusion imaging in differential diagnosis between granulomatous mastitis (GM) and non-mass breast cancer (NMBC).Methods The preoperative MRI,postoperative pathological examination and related clinical data of patients with GM (n =17) and NMBC (n =21) were retrospectively analyzed. Results Between GM and NMBC groups,no differences were found in early enhancement rate, maximum reinforcement ratio of hemodynamic parameters in the lesions and apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC) values (P>0.05).The enhancement curve of lesions showed 13 GM cases were presented with type-Ⅱ time-to-intensity curve (TIC) (76.47%),11 NMBC were type-Ⅲ TIC (52.38%),and there were significantly differences in lesions between two groups (P<0.05).Conclusion MRI perfusion imaging have a certain kind of sense in the diagnositic identification of GM and NMBC,but still need to closely follow the clinical signs and lesions of conventional MRI results.
