Analysis of Short-term Sex Hormone Levels Changes of Tropical Plains Medical Service Unit at High Altitude

Abstract:Objective To observe short-term sex hormone levels changes of tropical plains medical service unit at high altitude,and analyze the effect of hypoxia on sex hormones.Methods Twenty tropical plains medical serviceman in an army hospital in 2016 were observed,and divided into plain group and plateau group according to whether entering an elevation of 3800-4638 meters.Estradiol (E2),testosterone (T),pituitary prolactin (PRL),serum follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH),luteinizing hormone (LH) and progesterone (P) were measured by chemiluminescence immune detection system.Results The levels of FSH,LH,PRL and F2 in plateau group were lower than those in plain group,while the levels of T and P were higher than those in the plateau group (P<0.05).Conclusion After people rushing into plateaus,the decrease of sex hormone indexes are adaptive and compensatory changes.
