Abstract:Objective To analyze influence factors of blood homocysteine (Hcy) concentration of military flight personnel, and provide the basis for health management in normal life and training. Methods A total of 110 flight personnel from transport aircraft, bomber, helicopter pilots (41 of which with the flight time≤1000 h,69 with the flight time>t000 h),86 fighter pilots (33 of which with the flight time ≤1000 h,53 with the flight time>1000 h) and 107 healthy ground crew were selected. All flight personnel and healthy ground crew were divided into three groups according to age, respectively (20-30,31-40 and older than 41 years old),and different types of flight personnel were divided into two subgroups according to flight time(≤1000 h or>1000 h),meanwhile their blood Hcy concentration were compared. Results HCY concentration of military flight personnel was significantly higher than that of healthy ground crew (F =10.1 75,P =0.000),and the blood Hcy concentration of 31-40 years old flight personnel was significantly higher than that of 20-30 years old flight personnel. As the flight time increased, the HCY concentration increased(P<0.05).Blood Hcy concentration had relationship with blood uric acid, triglyceride and cholesterol. Conclusion For military flight personnel, the blood Hcy concentration of 31-40 and 20-30 years old flight personnel are significantly higher than those of healthy ground crew, and increase with flight times.Blood Hcy concentration have a relationship with blood uric acid, triglyceride and cholesterol, but has no significant changes with different types of flight personnel.
