Locational and Qualitative Analysis of Traditional Chinese Medicine Treatment with Osteoporosis in the Mid-aged and Older Based on Health Management Platform

Abstract:Objective To analyze the locational and qualitative characteristics of syndrome differentiation of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM),and evaluate the tonifying kidney treatment of TCM in the mid-aged and elderly with osteoporosis based on health management platform by using health management platform.Methods A total of 223 osteoporosis patients over 45 years old in health examination center of author's hospital were retrospectively analyzed from June 2013 to June 2016.All patients were used TCM for localization and type of syndrome differentiation,and received TCM treatment on the basis of above test results.According to different therapeutic drugs,all patients were divided into oral Caltrate D group and tonifying kidney prescription group,and then regrouped to male group and female group by gender after teratment.All patients were followed-up and evaluated the clinical effects.Results Women mainly were 74 cases with yin deficiency syndrome(50.00%),40 cases with yang deficiency syndrome(27.03%)and 13 cases with deficiency of vital energy(8.78%).Men mainly were 27 cases with yang deficiency syndrome(36.00%),22 cases with yin deficiency syndrome(29.33%)and 10 cases with deficiency of essence(13.33%).The effective rate of tonifying kidney prescription group was higher than that of oral Caltrate D group(P<0.05).Conclusion The health management platform data analysis can accurately collect clinical evaluation indexs of osteoporosis in the mid-aged and older.Above results show osteoporosis is diagnosed kidney locationally and deficiency syndrome of yin and yang quantitatively.It has a certain guiding significance for clinical follow-up and treament.
