Application of Classification and Regression Tree in Evaluation of Mental Health of Military Personnel

Abstract：Objective To analyze the main symptoms affected by military mental health, provide an effective method for the army to develop mental health education, and give more targeted psychological guidance.Methods The psychological evaluation data of 1300 enlisted man enlisted before September 2014 were established the classification and regression tree (CART) model for military mental health evaluation by CART method and R language.Results Anxiety and mental illness were the key factors of military mental health.All model were fit to correctly classify the situation of military mental health.Conclusion More attention should be paid to anxiety and mental illness while carrying out psychological counseling.
