Discussion of Group Psychological Counseling on Recuperation of Secret Service Officers and Soldiers

Abstract：Objective To explore the application effects of group psychological counseling on recuperation of secret service officers and soldiers.Methods A total of 846 secret service officers and soldiers in authors,sanatorium were randomly divide into observation group and control group,each group with 423 cases.The control group was given psychological health lectures,and the observation group was given group psychological counseling.Symptom check list-90 (SCL-90),self-rating anxiety scale (SAS) and self-rating depression scale (SDS) were used to evaluate the scores before and after the psychological counseling.Results All the factor scores of SCL-90,SDS scores and SAS scores were reduced significantly in observation group after group psychological counseling (P<0.01).After intervention,all the factor scores of SCL-90 in observation group were significantly lower than those in control group except physical factor score (P<0.05,P<0.01).SDS,SAS scores in observation group were significantly lower than those in control group (P<0.01).Conclusion Group psychological counseling has better application effect on recuperation than psychological health lectures for secret service officers and soldiers,and it is worthy of promotion.
