Influence of Qiliqiangxin Capsule on QRS-T Angle in Chronic Heart Failure Patients

Abstract：Objective To evaluate the influence of Qiliqiangxin (QLQX) capsule on QRS-T angle in chronic heart failure(CHF) patients.Methods One hundred and thirty CHF patients were enrolled in this study and divided into two groups equally and randomly: QLQX group and control group.Six minutes walking test (6MWT),cardiac ultrasound,levels of N-terminal pro-B-type natriuretic peptide (NT-proBNP) and QRS-T angle were measured at the beginning and 6 months after treatment.Results In QLQX group,QRS-T angle and levels of NT-proBNP were decreased after 6 months treatment (P<0.05),while left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) and 6 MWT results were increased (P<0.05).QRS-T angle and levels of NT-proBNP in QLQX group at 6 months were significantly lower than those in control group (P<0.05).Correlation analysis showed that QLQX treatment was negatively related with △QRS-T (r=-0.669,P<0.05) and △NT-proBNP (r=-0.641,P<0.05),and positively associated with △LVEF (r=0.546,P<0.05).Conclusion QLQX can reduce size of QRS-T angle in CHF patients.
