Clinical Analysis of 217 Cases of Military Adenovirus Infection
Abstract:Objective To analyze the clinical characteristics of military adenovirus infection and provide references for clinical diagnosis and treatment in the future. Methods The clinical manifestations, imaging examination, laboratory examination and other related clinical data of 217 military patients with adenovirus infection were collected and retrospectively analyzed. Results The changes of hemoglobin, myocardial enzyme spectrum and urine analysis were statistically different between patients with pneumonia and upper respiratory tract infection (P<0.05).From the perspective of inflammatory markers, the massive pneumonia group (number involved lobes > 2) and upper respiratory tract infection group were compared and their erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR),and C-reactive protein (CRP),calcitonin gene-related peptide (PCT) were significantly different (P<0.05),while interleukin 6 (IL-6) was not significantly different. Conclusion The incidence of adenovirus infection is acute. It can cause military respiratory diseases in the short term with mostly respiratory symptoms and mild symptoms in other systems.Inflammatory indexes (including ESR,CRP,PCT) are significantly elevated.Myocardial enzyme abnormalities, anemia, and abnormal urine analysis may be the clinical features of severe adenovirus infection, which should be focused.
