Status and Countermeasures of the Cognition of Hospitalized Patients for Ethical Issues in Nursing

Abstract:Objective To understand the cognition status of hospitalized patients of ethical problems in nursing and the corresponding countermeasures.Methods The typical sampling methods were adopted to extract 402 hospitalized patients from three top hospitals.The self-designed "patients of nursing work ethic problem recognition questionnaire" was utilized for investigation.Results A total of 96.3% hospital patient considered that ethics was important for medical personnel,51.5% thought that the nursing ethics level was high,and 49.5% never learned the ethical knowledge.In medical personnel,the top three ethical issues included that the medical stuff can't discover the patients' change timely,had no transpositional consideration,and ignored affective interaction and humane care with patients.The top three patients' own problems were biased cognition on nursing,poor moral cultivation and low education background.Conclusion The ethics consciousness of nursing stuff and humanistic qualities should be further enhanced to improve the patients' satisfaction degree and promote the harmony and healthy development of nurses-patients relationship.
