Abstract:To investigate the seismic performance of the shield tunnels in liquefaction interlayer sites under earthquakes, the seismic response characteristics of the tunnel structure, such as the lateral convergence value, tunnel inclination angle, the excess pore water pressure of the surrounding sandy soil and the internal force of the structure, were analyzed by using Finite Difference Software(FD-Software).The results show that when the top of the tunnel traverses the liquefiable soil layer, the liquefiable soil layer is less harmful to the structure. When the bottom of the tunnel traverses the liquefiable soil layer, the lateral deformation of the structure is larger. When the middle of the tunnel traverses the liquefiable soil layer, the structure is susceptible to shear damage. The results can provide a theoretical basis and scientific reference for the seismic design of shield tunnels in liquefaction interlayer sites under strong earthquakes.
