Abstract:The Anqiu-Juxian Fault(F5)in the Tanlu Fault Zone is the seismogenic fault of the Tancheng M81/2 earthquake in 1668.The surface rupture caused by this earthquake may have extended to the area of South Maling Mountain, south of Xinyi City center. The results of active fault detection in Xinyi City indicate that F5 passes through Xinyi City in the form of a concealed fracture, which is a Holocene active fault. On this basis, this paper carried out the precise positioning and comprehensive analysis of the joint profiles of multiple drillholes in terms of the spatial distribution and Late Quaternary activity of F5 in the high-tech zone, revealing that the fault is divided into the east and west branches, with the east branch being a Late Pleistocene fault and the west branch being a Holocene fault, showing a discontinuous right-ordered diagonal lineup, which is not a simple shear tensile order area. The results provide new information and understanding for the future seismic hazard evaluation of the Tanlu Fault Zone and the earthquake fortification of Xinyi City.
