Research on Base Isolation of Emergency Center in a Nuclear Power Plant Structure

Abstract：An emergency center is established for dealing with emergency accidents in nuclear power plant. A complete base isolation design of reactor structure is presented in this paper. The control effectiveness of isolated emergency center is evaluated. The floor response spectrum of isolated emergency center, base-fixed emergency center and the target floor response spectrum of the emergency center are compared. Results show that base-isolated technology can significantly reduce the seismic response and the floor response spectrum of emergency center, thus base-isolated technology can greatly enhance the function of emergency center in emergency accidents.
